Trainee Account Executive – Commercial Insurance (Evesham)

We are seeking a trainee Account Executive within our expanding insurance brokerage – based in our Evesham office.
At Hazelton Mountford, our staff are core to our success and we are looking for a candidate with a high level of previous commercial insurance handling experience, who will share our values of personal service, expertise and integrity.
The successful candidate will work closely with a Director of the business as well as other established Account Executives to provide our clients with expert advice on their insurance programme as well as the day to day servicing and administration of relevant policies. We set a very high standard of service and so expect interaction with clients to be delivered in a timely, technically accurate and efficient manner.

Commercial Insurance Account Executive
This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to develop their career in the insurance broking industry and be part of an organisation who is passionate about delivering an exceptional service to its clients. You’ll receive full training, mentorship, and support to build the skills and expertise needed to thrive in the industry, and in return you can look forward to a healthy and prosperous career.
Some key responsibilities and duties will include (but not limited to):

Managing a small portfolio of commercial clients, delivering exceptional personal service.

Understanding clients’ business operations to identify their insurance needs and offer tailored solutions.

Preparing and presenting new business and renewal quotations.

Prospecting and networking to develop new business opportunities.

Meeting individual sales and income growth targets.

Building strong relationships with clients and insurers.

Negotiating terms with insurers to secure the best coverage and competitive quotes.

Staying up-to-date on industry trends, regulations, and products to offer informed advice.
Skills and Experience:

Previous experience working within the insurance sector – essential

Passion for developing a career in commercial insurance.

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail

Proactive and eager to learn.

Excellent customer facing and relationship building skills

Able to work both independently and within a team.

Full driving licence and own transport.
Based in Evesham, our client is offering a basic salary of up to £27 / £28k (depending on experience) plus excellent additional benefits. Full mentoring and training will be offered.
