Charlotte Reese, Referencing Administrator at HM Referencing – part of the Hazelton Mountford Group – is passionate about supporting Worcester Foodbank and their appeal to help local people in crisis.

At the recent team meeting, Charlotte addressed the Group and shared the latest information on the rising concern within our county.

As per the information on the website, nearly 15k people were fed by Worcester Foodbank in 2022/23. That’s a 29% rise in demand since 2021/22. More than 1 in 3 people fed by the Foodbank are children.

Charlotte says:

The cost of living crisis is having different impacts on all of us but is hitting those hardest who were already struggling. The demand on the Worcester Foodbank has seen a huge increase this past year with almost 15,000 people relying on their food parcels at one point or another. 

If everyone donates just a little, or a lot if they can, we can make a difference to those within our community who need a little extra help when times are tough. 

Hazelton Mountford, based at 4 Bank Street in Worcester, are a local drop-off point and Charlotte is appealing for support.
